   Categories & Programmes:

- Junior -

​      

       PreCategory  up to 8 year - old candidates

Free programme up to 7 minutes

      I Category 9 - 11 year - old  candidates

Free programme up to 9 minutes

      II Category 12 - 14 year - old  candidates

Minimum of 2 pieces of different character up to 11 minutes

      III Category 15 - 17 year - old candidates

Minimum of 2 pieces of different character up to 15 minutes

        

   - Senior -

 

       Category A 18 - 24 year - old  candidates

Minimum of two different epochs up to 25 min.

       Category B 25 - 35 year - old candidates

1st Round:

First movement of Sonata (Haydn, Mozart or Beethoven),

Virtuosic Etude and a piece of free choice - max 30 min.

2nd Round:

A freely chosen recital programme from at least two different epochs.

No repeats of works from the first round - max 40 min.

 

 All programmes must be performed from memory.

Jury members are not allowed to evaluate their 

current or former students and family members.

- free participation at Masterclass 2026 (in Malta, accomodation provided)

III Prize - Category A - 

- free participation at Masterclass 2026 (in Malta)

I Prize - Category B -

   Solo Recital in Vienna and monetary award of 1000 euros

II Prize - Category B -

   Solo Recital in France and monetary award of 700 euros

III Prize - Category B -

   Solo Recital in Malta and monetary award of 500 euros

      First Prize - from 95 to 99,99 points

      Second Prize - from 90 to 94,99 points

      Third Prize - from 85 to 89,99 points

      Certificate of participation - less than 85 points
