ACADEMY, MISSION AND WHAT WE STRIVE FOR
We understand that every single student is different and faces different obstacles. These obstacles are best to overcome with an approach to teaching that is focused on three fundamental aims: to instruct, to inspire and to encourage. With these aims in mind, we will do our upmost to ensure that our students are always confident, stimulated and capable. This is our simple recipe for their success. We believe that this success is best achieved in a setting that is supportive and welcoming. For all our students we provide solfeggio and theory lessons (see fees). Journals, music notebooks and copy of scores are free of charge. Our scholastic year starts on the 21st of September and finishes on the 3rd of July. Lessons are also held in the summer period, from the 4th of July until the 20th of September. Lessons are one to one and scheduled once or twice a week. Lessons can also be held online but it is not recommended for beginners. For home piano lessons, we are happy to provide our instrument for beginners who still do not have their own piano.
During the scholastic year, we have several student concerts and Malta International Piano Festival in August which combines international student competition and concerts of renowned local and foreign pianists.
